  1. >Thank you Susan for understanding. I’m just starting New Moon and like someone said elsewhere, I feel like somebody just broke up with me. boo hoo. Honestly, I’m heartbroken. All over a papercut. And Mags, I promise nothing deep is going on. Nothing at all. As my husband said, “You’ve now joined the legions of teenaged girls and desperate suburban housewives.” Sigh.

  2. >LOL….honestly, I just started reading to see what all the fuss was about (Darn D.O.! I’d never heard of it until that thread! lol). And of course, the back of Twilight had the teaser for New Moon in it. Ugh. I think I read all four w/in a week? Shesh. Enjoy!Briar Rose/Texanna

  3. >I read all four in a week……I was exhausted, but it was worth it. It’s just a good story, and the title of your post got it exactly right. It’s a great vacation from the real world. I am actually at the end of re-reading New Moon. The first time, I was so excited to find out the ending, I didn’t get to enjoy it. Reading the series the second time has been even more fun than the first.I’m glad you found a brief escape!Anne

  4. >You’re welcome. Dd loved your comment and replied, “Of course.”She’s a member of Team Alice. :-)Personally I visit Pern or Narnia when I need to have an I-maginary vacation. But I do get it.Susan

  5. >I’m glad somebody understands. I think the story rocks even if the writing isn’t the greatest. Writing schmiting…just give me more. Twilight has rekindled all sorts of distracting thoughts and feelings.
